Photo Negative Makeup Challenge using Inverted Colors

I decided to attempt the Photo Negative Makeup Challenge using Inverted Colors. Although I was inspired just hours later than her, the true originator of this challenge is Maria Pol, but others have attempted to do it years ago.

I began by applying black to all of the high points of the face, then went in with light teal, followed by cobalt blue because the teal wasn’t having much effect. I applied NYX eyeshadow base to the lips, lashes, waterline, and brows, to make them appear black when the image is inverted. I then contoured with the cobalt blue and white eyeshadows using a blusher brush by MAC and the Contouring rectangular brush by It! Cosmetics.

How do you think I did? Comment below or on the video. I’d love to see your attempts at the Photo Negative Makeup Challenge– tag me!
