There were all sorts of unusual sights and attractions within the Mütter Museum…of course, my favorite was the conjoined fetus, but I was also so grateful I got to see Einstein’s brain in slides…I had always hoped I’d be able to and it was purely coincidence. There were such astounding sights as all of the blood vessels within the body displayed by themselves in the shape of a body, the neurons of the mind shown in the shape of a brain, and of course a giant phallus…because no installation would be complete without one. If you’re looking for something to do in Philadelphia and find that you yourself are strange and unusual, I’d put this on my sight-seeing list…just walk out with a waft of sage smoke as you exit…because that bitch is totally haunted!
