What with bold colorful hair, smouldering black graphic eye-makeup; and words like beauty, unity, and equality were strewn across sheer chiffon, garments, and beanies; The Versace Fall/Winter 2017 Fall/Winter 2017 Milan Fashion Week runway show lived up to the edgy aesthetic the brand is known for. Lots black looks, “Versace” strapped heels, sheer cut out and godet dress, beautifully tailored loose-fit jackets were paired with cropped flared leg pants, the cascading embellishment of the coats, the manipulation of leather, and bags that held their own amidst the collection were sent down the runway at the Versace FW17 MFW runway show. The trends were evoked more subtly than other MFW shows, through the cut: tear-away shoulders, flared legs, and print. The one look I absolutely hated was the full denim look, which was over embellished and ill-fitting. The Versace Fall/Winter 2017 collection was, however, edgy, youthful, sexy, and fabulously chic.
The Prada Fall/Winter 2017 Runway Beauty and Makeup look featured graphic black eye-makeup, full coverage makeup and contour, and a nude lip.
