Versace FW15 MFW

The Versace Fall 2015 collection was full of bold colors- mint green, yellow, red.  The coats, jackets, & trenches were very fab and need-to-have: I want to see women in the suit-dresses.  The 70’s were represented in the bellbottoms, and I wasn’t alive so I don’t know if that’s why we’re getting the weird Gianni…

Moschino FW15 MFW

Puffer Pimpin, Jeremy Scott’s crazy ass continues to vomit ugly onto the runways.  Sleeping bag puffer jackets, coats, overalls, and skirts, oh why.  The harness and spray paint bags are cool ideas; the double brimmed hats, however, are not. Looney Toons graphic shirts and jerseys, bags, accessories and jackets are sure to strike a chord…

Fendi Fall 15 MFW

Fendi’s Fall 2015 collection was this chic representation of the 70’s once you take out the out of whack proportions of the voluminous looks, the stiff leather overalls or lederhosen, and the continuation of blankets turned clothes.  The big pocket looks and belted shirts are interesting, but when done in the leather it just gives us…

Peter Pilotto FW15

If you thought of the 70’s and tried to reminisce about those hideous colors, those gross greens and yucky yellows, the paisley, then said- what would it look like seeing those things while n acid- that’s what Peter Pilotto showed for Fall 2015.

Christopher Kane: Art or Arts & Crafts?

While the beautiful art, figures, decorated the dresses at Christopher Kane, it seems the fine line of art and crafty was crossed…repeatedly.  What started out as silhouetted graphics turned into dangling feet and little penises hanging off dresses.  If said dangling feet were cut off and sewn down at the hemline, I’d say this is…

Gucci: You’re Fired!

Just as we say farewell to one Gucci creative director, Frida Giannini, it looks as if we’re going to be saying “bye Erica,” to the new one, Alessandro Michele, or rather “You’re fired!,” which seems more appropriate given Donald Trump’s hair was the inspiration for these toupee shoes. It was sisterhood of the traveling ruffles…

Preen FW15

The Preen Fall/Winter 2015 collection was refreshing, and showed some the most modern and fun ways to represent the seventies trend with bright and bold plaids, but you know I hate florals.  The outerwear and tuxedos and tuxedo pants were amazing- I found myself trying to justify wearing them as a man.  Overall a wearable, unique,…

Gareth Pugh FW15

It was a Holy war on the runway with Gareth Pugh’s Fall Collection representing the Knights Templar in the literal red cross makeup.  There was an absense of color, literally as black was the palette.  Leather, top stitched and stiff paired with a line skirts. I love the jacket and coats with he cape sleeve….

Marchesa Notte FW15

The Marchesa Notte Fall 2015 collection was a little boring and old with those prints: I never understand how designers with such impeccable taste put out mistakes like the LBTD: little black titty dress.  I hate the striped dress, but I do like the black and gold sheer dress, and hope women adopt this illustion…
