This was a collaboration with Bree, of lovlierie.com, who gave me the word “Starlight” as my theme and let me do my thing. I am glad I accepted her challenge, as I did a few thing’s I’ve always wanted to, such as the two-light-source fakeout with makeup and the Shooting Star Brows on the Grey Alien.
Looks:
* Every Single Base is the same: Mac Prep and Prime, Philosophy Miracle Worker foundation in 5, Tarte Shape Tape concealer in Light Neutral, NYX HD Setting Powder.
* Galaxy Manicure: appears in all shots, and was created using a base of Black Heart Beauty’s “Cursed,” then mixing Orley’s Frenemy TX” with Whim’s “Retro Vibe,” lastly I used OPI Infinite Shine3 top coat.

  1. Grey Alien:

This was my third venture into latex, special effects makeup or sfx makeup, life-casting, etc. I first tried for my Parsons X Teen Vogue course, then did it for the Pinhead Makeup- this time, knowing the character was only in a few seconds of footage, I decided to build up the latex with paper towels, which I wadded underneath and secured with masking tape to build up the cheeks and fill the nasolabial folds….stay tuned for the behind the scenes and tutorials, because the latex got into my hairline and I had to pull the hair out!  I applied a bald cap and find I prefer the thin cheep ones to the durable thick version by Seasons.
Makeup: My own liquid lipstick creation- a gorgeous shimmery metallic blue I forgot to put on my nipples lmao; Ulta Beauty “Celestial and “Fusion” from an unnamed palette- used to create the shooting star brows; the Black Heart Beauty duo eyeliner stamper to create the crescent moons and stars on the brows; Urban Decay Moondust palette’s “Magnetic” and “Vega,” Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights” and bronzer in “Golden Days.”

Celestial Body: Wolf Essential Colors water-soluble face paint in blue and yellow, gradated to make it appear like the planets were light sources…there was only my homemade ring-light on me. NYX Strobe Genius; Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights;”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2ZtwJRq7T4

Abductee: Urban Decay Moondust palette”Element” and “Specter;” Laura Geller The Delectables Delicious Shades of Nude “Vintage” “Sunrise,” and “Creme;” NYX Strobe Genius; BH Cosmetics Glamorous Blush 10 Color palette 6100-003 and Third Edition 120 Color Eyeshadow palette 1000-003; Benefit Gimmie Brow in 5.

Galaxy Manicure: With sparkling swirled black and purple glitter nail polishes, this galaxy nail art perfectly comlimented the theme and looks.

I really enjoy Special Effects SFX Makeup, animation and motion graphics, in addition to the costume design, fashion and beauty vlogging, and I hope to continue to evolve- to take you to a different world and place.
