DSquared2 Fall/Winter 2017

Floral print moto jackets, oversized outerwear, fringe, the common motif of the boy-scout patches, plaid shirts tied about the waist, and a weird cameo by Bo-peep characterized the DSquared2 Fall/Winter 2017 runway show. The triple breasted 2-button jacket was original, and one of my favorite looks from the collection. The color palette featured loads of black, red plaid, white, green, cow, blue, and a touch of camel.  Leather, flannel, shearling, whool, denim, and khaki fabrics contrasted hard edged spiked boots and hiking boots for the men, whereas the women wore strappy and lace-up calf-high boots. The DSquared2 FW17 collection had many wearable looks among the lackluster and questionable; I am still loving the way layered lengths look, and although I hate florals the moto jackets were cool.
