You know I have a lace-up addiction, so it goes without saying I love the KTZ Fall/Winter 2017 menswear collection. Seemingly inspired by sports gear, mimicking the look of corsetry, there is something sexy, edgy, and athleisurely about KTZ FW17. I love the contrasting black with black and white print lace up pants, capes, even literal corsets were still so masculine, having a bit of a military air to them. I am totally going to have to attempt to recreate some of these looks in a DIY mission, particularly the kneeless leather pants.
There is such a leather subculture vibe, a sexiness to this collection that I am obsessed with. The monochromatic looks take the black and white looks to an elevated level. I mean, if you’re going to make a windbreaker, do it like KTZ has here- attention to detail, cohesion, originality- the KTZ FW17 Runway show was full of bad ass and uniquely sharp looks, with no shortage of separates. I love that we saw a range of prints, layers, and looks that went from casual to dressy- however, I feel as if the color palette was safe, primarily white and black with touches of grey, brown, muted sage.
