It’s very interesting to see how drastically a line can change from season to season. After having seen DKNY’s androgynous SS16 collection, which featured photo prints of NYC, 90’s vibe meets modern fashion as represented in the power suits and shirt dresses contrasting the school girl or garçon look, the DKNY Fall/Winter 2016 New York Fashion Week collection takes us on a nostalgic trip through the 90’s. Cropped tops and suit jackets, shirt dresses, lace-up detail, and hard-edged black leather juxtaposing soft flowing white and lace fabrics. The DKNY NYFW MBFW FW16 was both edgy and feminine, dualistically black and white, hard and soft.
