Proenza Schouler Fall/Winter 2016 New York Fashion Week NYFW MBFW FW16

The Proenza Schouler Fall/Winter 2016 New York Fashion Week runway show featured several trends and motifs we’ve seen hit the runways- layers that look retro-modern chic when paired with the double breasted jackets, lace-up  and strap details reminiscent of Versace years and years ago met with Hervé Léger, unique wrap-tie pant pockets, cut-outs, patchwork fur, insane grommet patch pockets.  The palette was full of black and white, and was suplemted by  green, red, brown and cream, gray, and camel; abstract prints in black on white/cream, wavy and animal prints were featured on dresses, tops and skirts.

Matte versus sheen, sleek met textured, and hard contrasted soft with leather, wool, shearling, ribbed mock neck tops and dresses, metal toed boots, unique handled and seamed bags, and gorgeous asymmetrical earrings were among the many details that really made the Proenza Schouler NYFW MBFW FW16 collection stand out.
