Gucci Fall/Winter 2016 Men’s Milan Fashion Week FW16 MFW

Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2016 Men’s Milan Fashion Week collection continued the theme of the women’s show, playing off the librarian chic, 70’s trend with tapestry and floral prints, velvets and silks, embroidery…  Plaid, houndstooth, florals, and windowpane prints combined with a palette of creams; brown; cobalt, navy, and light blues; bold greens; peachy light pink; red;  purple; and black.  Denim, capes, statement coats, collars, out-there knit hats, western shirts, several of the trends we’ve seen hit the runways were present, including androgyny.   We’ve been seeing a lot of licensing in fashion, perhaps most notably pioneered by Moschino: Snoopy characters reared their heads in graphic t-shirts for Gucci FW16 MFW.
