The Ermenegildo Zegna Fall/Winter 2016 Men’s Milan Fashion Week runway show was a poorly lit dark collection…not a good match. Perhaps some backlighting, color lighting, any lighting might have still allowed for the dark mystery they’re going for while still allowing for the details to show.
On-trend textiles and prints included Paisley, florals, polkadots, pinstripes, damask (I had to switch to my phone to see the details). From what we can see, it looked like a muted dark collection, borrowing from the 70’s trend but remaining entirely in this era. Great separates, suits, capes, jackets: everything was wearable, fashionable, and nothing looked kitschy.
