Oliver Spencer London Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2016 is a dichotomy between fashionable of fashion-victim: how can one collection feature Freddy Kruger, concentration camp PJ’s met with prison uniforms, and contrastingly beautiful prints mixed expertly, and fabulous perfectly tailored looks? The horizontal striped looks paired with matching hats and scarves bring A Nightmare on Elm Street to mind; the camel suede and patchwork jackets invoke the 70’s mother earth spirit. Loads of plaid, heathered gray pants, more stripes, pinstriped suits and pants, houndstooth pants and a shirt with matching tie, and a slew of prints bespeckled the collection. The fabric selection included wool, suede, deep blue velvet, knit, gorgeous tweed… it was overall a polished stylishly fabulous collection any man would be proud to wear for FW16.
