Roberto Cavalli SS16

The Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2016  collection started off looking like home-sewn projects crafted by Romy and Michelle.  I don’t understand why the collection wasn’t edited down.  The O-rings did create unique looks, however, there were too many rings used.  The jumpsuit, leather vests, and the short dresses were or could’ve been beautiful, but the ruffle monster consumed the show.  I was overall disappointed, because Cavalli can be the king of prints, and obviously does have it in him to elevate the collection, but simply choose to allow Peter Dundas to muddy and dumb it down…
