Preen By Thornton Bregazzi SS16

Preen By Thornton Bregazzi SS16 was another heavy handed collection of London Fashion Week. O-rings, which could’ve been used in a much better way rather than this obviously forced design development.  The garments looked stiff, overworked- even those meant to evoke the seventies with cut-away-shoulders: this inorganic stiffness was the thing that tied this collection together, the asymmetric ruffle on the leather jacket, the awkward use of the o-rings in a counterintuitive fashion rather that meeting delicately draped fabric they seem to be more ornamental than a true part of the design.
