Thomas Wylde SS16

Thomas Wylde’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection was bad-bitch rocker-chic, with cream looks touched with black contrasting details and metal cross and stud appliqués.  Silk chiffon shirt dresses, hi-lo tops, separates, loose flowing tops contrasting form-fitting and even leather tube tops.  The palette transitioned so well from white to cream, then to nude, with abstract prints in nude and brown and black and gray, each time “fading to black” looks.  The fabric selection included silk chiffon, leather, silk taffeta, and what looked more like a laser-cut than lace.  I loved the tuxedo inspired pieces, especially the leather studded lapels, and lived for that gorgeous flowing cream coat.  Thomas Wylde brought the jet-setting party girl to the runway for SS16.
