Zang Toi SS16

The Zang Toi Spring/Summer 2016 collection oozed chic minimalism in impeccable tailoring and execution: the show started all in white, with beautiful blazers and suits for both men and women, I definitely want the blazer that the first male model walked out in. I love the drop shoulder bishop sleeves of the blouses.  We saw knitwear, dangling quartz crystals for necklaces, huge white straw hats, white broderie-anglais, white straight leg pants, a three-quarter length open front jacket, three-quarter length sleeved tribal print lined coat, many skirts, a high low mini in navy blue paired with a ribbed shirt and matching sweater, crochet appliqués on a white miniskirt,  followed by a similar appliquéd coat which was removed and revealed a sheer black top and flared black pants underneath, emerald green sequin detail on the sleeves of the short-sleeved dress.

It was a fabulous flawlessly executed collection literally from head to toe: every detail was perfect down to the matching green crystal strap of the high heel strap’s green crystal matching the green banded appliqué. The lining of the cape of the blue dress was sequin appliquéd as well.  So much attention to detail and thought was put into this collection- bravo. I loved the lime green sheer dress with blue appliqué on the shoulder and natural waist, followed by the black sheer and turquoise appliqué bodice of the next dress.  The models worked the dresses very well and the show seemed to be choreographed appropriately to a slower pace than we’ve seen with the other shows.
