Nicholas K Spring Summer 2016

Nicholas K has brought it at New York Fashion Week in seasons past, so expectations are high.  I have loved the original fashion-forward designs of seasons past.  The Nicholas K Spring/Summer 2016 collection didn’t disappoint, and featured White and charcoal-greige hooded coats, utilitarian looks complete with cargo pockets and gun holsters, ombre white to black shirt dresses and layers.  Post apocalyptic chic, the Look is a layered, flowing- tomb raider meets Safari with cross-body rope details; the fabric selection was everything- sheen fabrics (maybe Waxed cotton and sateen or silk) and just a slight amount of denim also with an ombre.  This bitch is a survivor. Belted corsets hold the layers together, cinching them at the waist.
