J.W. Anderson FW15: what a joke!

The J.W. Anderson Fall 2015 collection was more of a disaster than Tom Ford’s.  Remember the fashion show from Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead?  Yeah, that sums up this strangely grotesque show.  Atrocious 90’s looking prints, seemingly recreated with finger paints contrasted this frumpy silhouette.  This is a fashion renegade, that’s the only explanation I have for those boots with the tights, and the mini, and the top.  What is that big purple mess?  I hate J.W. Anderson.

I agree, I actually think so many designers make huge mistakes on the catwalk. The OTT designs may look great at fashion week but aren’t transferable to day to day life. Realistically, not many people will sport the looks seen on the catwalk so I think they need to be turned down a bit 🙂

,Exactly: you know even with avant-garde there’s a need for wearability, so you can be OTT but walk the fine line of not distorting the silhouette & proportions in undesirable ways. I don’t know what to say on print other than be careful lol 😒😘
